BLACKGEYE HOME

We went to Scotland for 2 weeks of location filming & interviews.
We flew into Inverness from London and drove to Drumnadrochit, where Loch Ness is located. After meeting the locals and sampling the finest mealy puddings and hearty Scottish breakfasts, we set out on the Loch with Captain George Edwards (Sean Connery wannabe) of the vessel “Deep Scan” that participated in the extensive sonar expedition to find Nessie (or her remains). George had lots to say about sonar, the Loch, and Nessie…and we picked up lots of excellent Scottish euphemisms that we still can’t stop saying.

We filmed all over Drum, the Scottish Highlands, the islands (Skye, Iona, etc.) and met loads of interesting people — movers and shakers in the Glasgow/Dundee/Edinburgh scene. We spotted UFOs circling over the Urquhart Castle and sipped excellent “tall white coffees” at Eileen Donan Castle…we went to real live authentic Scottish Highland Games, rubbed elbows with sheep & Highland “coos” and fell in love with the country.
